♥ Bare feet, small and yet filthy as could be, walked down a well worn path just short of road. She kept to the sidelines, a child dressed in a light lilac dress, dirt stains clinging to the fabric, reaching just to her boney knees. An ivory chesmine underneath, and neat looking lace up the front, even though 11 year old girls didn't quite need a corset, the look was all it was for.
The orphan wandered aimlessly down the dirt patch. She was quiet for the moment, keeping to herself, and out of the way of travelers. Most didn't enjoy the company of a young street urchin.
Helena sighed, though deep brown orbs complimented by thick black lashes almsot a mile long, lit up as she neared the docks. Ah, her favorite place. It was so large, not only the shipping port, but the ocean. It was so beautiful, vast, and large.
A smile caressed the freckle faced girl as fingers reached along her ivorycheeks, brushing her long ebony curled locks behind her ears.
Walking easily through and under crates that filled the port, many busy people around here made her presence seem almost not. She was fine with that, it wasn't often many gave her a great deal of attention. She had a few friends where she needed them, even if life wasn't the best, she manged to stay happy, after all she was still in good health, and the weather was well.
She stared near the shore, every second getting closer to the wooden platforms, she loved how the wobbled as she walked on them, pure amusement wasn't that hard to find. Wide eyes watched as freight unloaders worked busily unloading ships and trading goods imported from other towns.
Eyeing an old wooden crate that'd been there for ages, she climbed her way onto it. It was close to the ocean, the tide would be coming in soon. Sitting cross legged, she sat; large chocolate orbs taking in the scene she'd seen so often. She'd been here so often she even reconized some of the faces around here. ♥

Blue green eyes turned to look out at the ocean. The dark blue waves came rolling in gently to the sandy shore. The tide was low at this time of day, for there were only white caps far out at sea. Gwen watched quietly as the boats floated about merrily in the salt water, occasionally bumping eachother, and splashing the dock in which the sailors stood.
Gwen came to the dock everyday, coming to sea the water and observe the hustle and bustle of the harbor. There were also several handsome young men that worked on the docks, and she would never pass up an opportunity to watch their work. Sometimes, Gwen would even come down to the docks to help them. She enjoyed the work with the boats, tying the ropes and cleaning the decks.
Gwen looked up into the sun. Judging by it's possition in the sky, it was about 12:30 am. Her family had tea at 1:30, and she would need to get a good start, as her mansion was ways away. Turning back towards the path that led away from the harbor, she saw a little girl wandering about on the path. Gwen drew in a breath as her eyes drifted over her forelorn appearance. She quickly hastened over to the girl, and spoke in a soft kind voice. Good gracious child, what has happened to you?

♥ The soft cooing sounds of warm caribbean waters repeatedly hitting the sandy beach shores soothed the child's flesh ears.
Dark oak crystals watched as the sea's water lapped at the wooden docks, only to receedingly retreat back from fourth it came. Her young gaze seemed locked on the ocean, sitting almost as a silhotte captured in the beauty she awed in.
Finally the gaze between her and the sea that mesmorized her broke-off, leaving her mind feeling blank.
She looked around, blinking a time or to as she imediatly regained her mind. There was no doubt in her head; she loved this place. It seemed to have an aurora that took her mind away, almost in a freeing sort, not that she was really captured by anything of in reality.
She took in her surroundings once again, only this time it was the people her chesnut orbs studied.
A certain women a appeared, she didn't look much different then many of the faces down here, though she did seem some what out of sort. Her clothes were full of color and much better looking then the sea dogs and traders around here. Helena could tell she was from out of town.
She paused sharply, realizing with a twinge of nervousness that the madam she'd been watching from afar had noticed her, waltzing close to her direction. The small girl felt all the sudden warm, an inocent shyness crept over her as the women was now in audible range, and speaking right towards her.
She couldn't help but to be slightly confused by her words. Dark hued tendrils were again brushed behind her less noticable soft ears, by small childish fingers. She looked down at her clothes, and herself, but still she couldn't tell what the lady was speaking of.
What was wrong with her?
Her freckled cheeks lightly shook as she moved her head from side to side.
"I- I don't know what you mean?"
Helena's voice was small, young and hardly audible over the noise of all other things around them. She sounded so timid and girly, in truths she was, though she wasn't always the shy sorts. She averted her gaze back down to her feet, confused by what this lady had meant. ♥

Gwen looked shocked at the little girl's response. She sounded slightly innocent, a little confused, and definetely worried. Gwen forced a pained smile, but her eyes kept drifting over the poor girl's dirt stained lilac dress, her dirty bare feet, and her confused expression. What's your name honey? Gwen held out a light fair skinned slender hand. I'm Gwen. Gwen Allendia.
Gwen's light periwinkle blue dress was exactly the same color as the blue sky above. She glanced at the little girl, then at Gharsa who was standing at the hitching post, looking slightly hurt that she had left him standing for so long. A lone tear slid gently down Gwen's light skinned cheek, reflecting the little girl and the silvery lippazaner stallion. She wanted to help. To do good in the world. Gwen just couldn't figure out how.

♥ Wiggling young wedged toes against the dampen aged wood crate, it's mysteries insides unknown though probley spoiled by time, the young orphaned child sat neatly, knobby knees facing out towards the salty shoreline marking her borders of place as she stayed. She'd never been out past knee deep, as even a foolish child she may be, not even daft enough to cross the waves that swept ships away with just a radient wind and sail.
Definely dark hued opticals reached a point of gazing right back towards her guest, not that they'd ever left recently to look at anything more then her own feet, nothing spectacular, compared to this relative lady, dressed in what appeared to be wealth, who'd just mentioned her name, now if only she'd remember it.
Her cheeks let loose to creasing rise, a smile that created deffinate dimples in her sunstreaked face, framed by almost ebony large loose waves, long enough to just tickle the mid of her back.
"Helena Rae Remoses!"
Her pitch was high and all the sudden enthused with a brillant light of two larger ivory teeth, the head of her mouth, making it a wonder how her thin pink lips covered them so easily.
She stiffened her back as she thrusted out a minture modeled hand of Gwen's, in such a quick action it would have scared anyone expecting a threat.
She was quite the content slop. ♥
